Sintex Industries - Fire in Company's Plastic Division at Kalol (N.G.)

Sintex Industries Ltd has informed BSE that a fire broke out in the meter box storage godown in Plastic division at Kalol (N.G.) on June 11, 2007 night.

Sintex Industries Ltd has informed BSE that a fire broke out in the meter box storage godown in Plastic division at Kalol (N.G.) on June 11, 2007 night.

 

The exact cause of fire could not be identified. As per preliminary estimation, the loss due to the fire would be around Rs 2.50 to 3.00 cr. As all Company's properties are adequately insured, no financial loss is envisaged. There is no impact on the production and working of the Plastic division due to the above.

 

The Company has already lodged claim with insurance Company.

 

the shares of the company closed at Rs. 243 in BSE today. It is up Rs. 45 or 22% in last 1 month.

 

The company has reported an EPS of rs. 12 for the FY 2007 which is discounted around 20 times at the CMP.
